WHO:      Bell Buckle Chamber of Commerce

The Bell Buckle Chamber of Commerce 22nd Annual RC Cola – MoonPie 10 Mile Run is ready for you. Are you ready?!!

This certified course is fun yet challenging for runners of all ages. The popularity of the run is due to its scenic route, friendly but competitive atmosphere, all world breakfast at the completion of the race, and the fact that the fun doesn’t end with the finish line since the race is followed by one of the top festivals in the Southeast – the RC-MoonPie Festival!

Registration is limited to the first 1,000 runners so preregistration is encouraged. The race begins at 7am with packet pick up the day of the race from 5:30am to 6:45am under the big tent across from the downtown shops next to the railroad. There are various ways to register: (1) go to the Bell Buckle Chamber of Commerce’s website at www.bellbucklechamber.com and either download and mail the application or register with our new online registration feature or (2) register on the Active.com website. Tech shirts are guaranteed for those who pre-register. There is a full breakfast offered to all runners after the race which Runner’s World magazine called “some of the best food you will find at a race!”

A copy of the course map is provided on the Bell Buckle Chamber of Commerce’s website. Water stops are provided at Mile Markers 2, 4, 6, and 8 with Powerade also offered at MM 6 and 8. Timers are provided along the course route as well to help runners work towards that PB goal!
The Nashville Striders provide championships for recording official times. The mat is pulled at the 2 ½ hour mark with trophy presentation at 10:00 at the stage area behind the downtown square where the RC – MoonPie Festival is held. Showers are provided at The Webb School Barton Gym after the race. Race results are provided on site as well as on the Nashville Striders website later on race day.
