It’s baaaaaaack! The Bell Buckle Chamber of Commerce 24th Annual RC-MoonPie 10 Mile and 2nd Annual 5K Run will be held Saturday, June 15th. With the overwhelming response from last year’s 5K entries, there will be split starts times between the two races in 2019 with the 10 Mile again starting at 7am and the 5K starting at 7:30. Both will have the same common start and finish lines. Both races are certified and a lot of fun for any runner whether you’re just starting or a seasoned veteran! And because we always listen to our runners, there will be finishers medals for all runners both 10 Mile and 5K upon crossing the finish line!

Registration is online only at Active.com. Registration is currently open and is limited to the first 1,200 runners, 800 for the 10 Mile and 300 for the 5K, so preregistration is encouraged. Race day packet pick up is from 5:30am – 6:45am for the 10 Mile race also at the downtown Bell Buckle picnic pavilion at the west side of the stores. Don’t worry, it goes fast! Race shirts are guaranteed for preregistered runners. A full breakfast is served post race to all runners. Afterwards showers are offered at The Webb School gym which is wonderful if you decided to stay for the popular RC-MoonPie Festival which is held on the festival stage grounds behind the store front area.

For the 10 Mile Run, water stops are provided at Mile Markers 2, 4, 6, and 8 with Poweraide also offered at MM 6.
