Lots Rules for the Bell Buckle Farmers Market (BBFM)

With the payment of full memberships in the Bell Buckle Farmers Market (hereafter called BBFM), you agree to the following requirements and laws and be held accountable for actions of all individuals listed on your membership application in regards to the following:

  1. All locally grown produce must be labeled “Locally Grown” and all vendors must abide by the BBFM Bylaws. Should the Lot Manager state that certain items cannot be sold, the seller will immediately abide by the request with the option of having the Board of Directors (at a separate meeting) for the BBFM review the products and make a final decision.
  2. You agree to abide by the lot regulations as directed in the bylaws or by the lot manager. All vendors will keep their vending booth area clean and presentable.
  3. You understand that you are responsible for collecting and reporting your own Federal, State, and Local taxes.
  4. You understand that any meat products that you sell must meet USDA standards and that you are responsible for proper refrigeration or processing under the Federal Government regulations.
  5. You agree to abide by all laws and regulations set forth by Federal, State, and local municipalities.
  6. You are required to keep the end of the canopy and goods/products no further than your assigned 10’ X 10’ space. The lot manager has the right to enforce this.
Vending Fees & Spaces BBFM
1.) Membership Fee of $30.00 is due in full on the first day of vending at the BBFM.
2.) All New Applicants to the BBFM will be reviewed by the Board of Directors. The review is to ensure a balance of product/produce in the market.
3.) Set Up/Breakdown - The Bell Buckle Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with Bell Buckle Town Hall, have asked that set up begin after 3:00pm and no later than 4:00pm. Breakdown can be no earlier than 7:00pm to ensure the safety of the consumers.
4.) All Lot Spaces will be assigned to each applicant. No applicant will be allowed to move unless approved by the board
